Live With Spence & Fernando – October 29, 2025 – I Did It “My Way”
Life isn’t perfect. Your body won’t be perfect. Your relationships, your bank account – nothing will be perfect. But if you wake up expecting imperfection and it’s better than that? What an amazing day. In today’s live stream, I’m sharing some real talk about entrepreneurship, AI, and why this moment in history is the most exciting time to be alive.
“We are now in a world where it doesn’t matter whether you’re six or 16 or 26 or 36 or 60, you’re at the same space or place as everybody else. This is day one of a brand new gold rush, a brand new opportunity.”
The AI Snow Globe: Everyone Starts at Zero
I’m 59 years old, in my third phase of life, and I’ve never been more excited. Why? Because the AI revolution has created something I call the “AI Snow Globe” – someone just shook up the entire world, and everyone is starting from square zero.
It doesn’t matter if you’re 6 or 60. We’re all at the same starting line. This is day one of a brand new gold rush, and the opportunities are incredible.
The 1966 Corvette Philosophy
I shared my philosophy about imperfection using my 1966 Corvette as an example. It’s not perfect – it has scratches, dings, imperfections. But that’s what makes it real, authentic, and beautiful.
The same applies to life and business. If you wake up expecting imperfection and it’s better than that, you’re winning. Stop chasing perfection. Build resilient muscles instead of building on sand.
Positive Self-Talk for Entrepreneurs
Every entrepreneur faces the daily mental battle. At 2 AM when you’re grinding away, you wonder “What am I doing?” I get it. I’ve been there multiple times.
Here’s what I’ve learned: If you get up in the morning and don’t have something to be excited about, something to learn, something to figure out – you’re just slowly dying. The key is having something that keeps you alive, keeps you learning, keeps you growing.
Why I Wear White Tank Tops
Someone asked why I wear white tank tops. Alex Hormozi was onto something! But seriously, it’s about comfort and authenticity. I’m not trying to be someone I’m not. This is me, doing it my way.
From Multi-Millionaire to Starting Over
I’ve been a multi-millionaire. I’ve lost it all and started over. And you know what? That’s okay. Money isn’t the only object. Relationships, growth, learning – these matter more.
When you’re born, you have your name and reputation intact. That’s the only thing that matters when you leave. Everything else is just the journey.
Revolutionary Breakthrough Moments
My customers are experiencing revolutionary breakthroughs. Work that used to take 6 months now takes a day. This isn’t hyperbole – this is real, happening right now with MinuteLaunch.
We’re building businesses that grow with where the world is today, not where it was yesterday. And because everyone is starting from zero in the AI revolution, you have just as much chance as anyone else.

Hey, it’s Spence the evil genius. All right. I like that video. Every day I have a new video. Uh, that one actually I got two plays out of. But, uh, good morning. It’s Spence. It is Wednesday, October 29th, 9:26. Today I want to talk very briefly because I got a full plate of stuff going on. And uh over here is I’ve got my friend Claude. Let’s actually put him into a mood that he’s happy with. Let’s see if I can toggle his window. There we go. So today I want to talk about two topics. First of all, I want to talk about the world we live in with AI, where it is and where it’s going. And number two, I want to talk about positive self-talk.
Um I’m going to start with the second topic first. as an entrepreneur lifelong. Oh, topic number three, by the way, because I just got a chat in. Spence, why do you keep wearing those white tank tops? Okay, let’s start with that. I’m wearing the white tank tops. I have three sons and two of my sons uh and I were hockey fans and we started a tradition where I didn’t start this. They started wearing tank tops around the house. I’ll show the picture uh for watching games. And I realized how actually comfortable it’s so free to move my arms around and stuff. And I like to work out during the day. So I I apologize for those who are offended, but if it’s good enough for Alex Hermosi, it’s good enough for me. And I think he was on to something. It’s very liberating to my sitting at the computer and stretching my arms and getting up. So I don’t think I’m offending anybody because I’m only showing my shoulders.
Number two, let’s do the positive self-talk. Uh, as a lifelong entrepreneur, there’s some learning experiences that I’ve had and some other things that make me oftentimes more resilient than I might have been had I had a job my whole life. And I’ve shared with almost everybody here in the past how I’ve gotten to where I’m at today. But I look at my third phase of life. I’m going to be 59 in a couple days. My third phase of life is about a year and change away. That’s from 60 on. And the way I look at it is my entire life since 10 years old, I’ve always been reinventing myself, finding problems that I want to solve for myself, then figuring out how to build systems to solve them, and then seeing if other people want those problems solved with my systems and then selling them.
And along the way, trying to follow the advice of my grandfather, Max Foreman, who explained to me that when you’re born into this world, you have your name and reputation intact. And that’s pretty much the only thing that ever matters is that you leave this life with it in as good a shape or better than when you started. Sometimes it’s hard. And most of you who’ve known me for a few years know the last few years for me have been challenging. I mean physical illnesses and you know back injuries and nerve damage all these other things that made it a challenge on top of building a new business.
But at the same time, when I get up in the morning and I look in the mirror, it takes about 30 seconds to a minute before I realize I don’t think I could have had it any other way. If I had stuck with the safe route, if I had not done the things that put my wealth at risk, you know, as a multi-millionaire in my 20s and 30s from just dumb luck or being attentive. And then the middle years, the drama, the marriage, the divorce, the child custody. I have a younger son with another woman with whom I’m still in a good relationship, but we never got married. I didn’t follow the traditional route. I followed a non-traditional route like like Elvis, like Frank Sinatra. I did it my way.
And I realize that when I’m at my lowest point or when I’m feeling frustrated or when uh my leg or my back bothers me or I’m wondering why didn’t I just do like my friends did and be a fat cat at 60 sitting on my pension or something. Um I did it my way and that kind of ties into topic one which is what the hell is the state of AI and where is it going?
Well, here’s a little thing. I keep a lot of toys on my desk. I keep this one on my desk. I have a Las Vegas one. I have another one laying around here somewhere. That basically what I’m saying is we are now in a world where it doesn’t matter whether you’re six or 16 or 26 or 36 or 60, you’re at the same space or place as everybody else. which makes me really excited about the fact that I very happily by the way spending 12 to 16 hours a day sometimes grinding away at the keyboard trying to make new software new solutions new businesses and putting it all at risk because yeah maybe it’d be nice to be sitting in my resort in Aspen or I used to have a farm with a runway and an airplane in Michigan and all these toys and stuff but the truth is I I hang out with these folks and they’re very lovely people.
If you get up in the morning and you don’t have something to be excited about, if you get up in the morning and if you don’t have something to to learn to to figure out, at least in my way of thinking, you’re you’re just slowly dying. Maybe you’re dying faster. And the world of AI means that everybody every single human being is at square zero for what’s the next thing going to be. It’s like a giant snow globe has been shaken up. And this applies to businesses that we’ve all grown accustomed to and built our livelihood on. Maybe it’s WordPress or something similar. But it also applies to our relationships. It applies to everyday life. How are we going to do things differently? And since we’re all at the same point, we’re all at the same advantage or disadvantage.
That’s what keeps me going because I realize this is like day one of a brand new gold rush, a brand new opportunity. And so for the things that I’ve been building, I keep that in mind that yeah, maybe I have a lot of friends and people I know that are sitting there on a boat, but they get up in the morning wondering what to be miserable about, what to be unhappy about. Not everybody, of course, but I’m saying they’re their needs are met, their wants are met, and now they’ve got to figure out what to do with the rest of their life. For those of us who are interested in this kind of stuff, every single moment of every day is something new and crazy, something new to invent, something new to build, something new to solve as far as a problem.
And because I also try to incorporate stoicism and other things into my life, it feels like that’s the remedy for what ails me. If I get up in the morning, I no longer expect things to be perfect. I realized, you know, hey, this is a 1966 Corvette I’m driving. The parts are a little, you know, worn out, a little wobbly, but man, it’s a great supercar. You just have to understand that when you wake up in the morning, life is not perfect. Your body won’t be perfect. Your physicality won’t be perfect. Your relationships, your bank account, nothing will be perfect. You just have to understand and expect it not to be perfect because then if it’s a better than not perfect day, it’s awesome.
I used to say, I think every morning when I wake up, well, something or somebody’s going to shit in my coffee today. And if it doesn’t happen, what an amazing day. So, I just wanted to have these words of encouragement because it’s been a long week for me, a really, really nice and productive week. And I feel like I’m on the cusp with many of you in a revolutionary breakthrough moment because we’ve onboarded a bunch of new customers and I have a few more proposals to get out actually this morning where the quotes that I’ve been getting and I have some videos from it that I’m going to incorporate are like fall off the chair. Oh my god, I can’t believe this is the way I can work and oh my god stuff would have taken me six months or six years I’m doing now in a day. And I’m seeing that myself.
So, I’m going to be spending every morning, every day, working on this stuff, happily, busy solving problems. And the money isn’t the issue. The money will work itself out. The issue is setting myself up for relationships and a business that will grow with where the world is at today. Because the one last thing I’ll say is that money is not the only object. But like for many people who have built their security on a beach, a beach of old ways, of old technologies, of old expectation, of old businesses, sometimes that can be really scary because if you’re not constantly exercising those muscles of, you know, move and rebuild, move and rebuild.
When something comes like the ocean and washes out the underpinnings of your foundation built on a beach of sand, it could be very scary. you know, 65, 70 years old for some people or even if you’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s, having your stuff taken away from you. I’ve had this happen to me many times because I’m an entrepreneur, but it’s a very unnerving thing if you’re not exercising your muscles. So, pick it up and move it and build it again. It’s hard. It’s sometimes it’s the hardest.
Um, so I suggest for anybody who’s interested, if you like this kind of stuff, I think that we’re in a new space where anybody can be an expert developer, a coder, they can be somebody who builds something that solves problems because the drudgery of having to do the intermediary steps or tools is now removed. That’s it. Off my soap box. I didn’t want to come across as preachy, but I just wanted to come across as saying encouragement that every day I go through the same thoughts that many of you do. What is this all going to be? Where is it all going? Because when you work very hard sometimes you you know two in the morning you go, “Holy cow, I got another six more days of this.” And it can feel like a marathon.
But when I get up in the morning a little bit more rested, I feel like I’m doing right now, which is I like to share these thoughts. So, I for one will be here for you, helping you move your businesses and your other stuff into the world of AI, especially if you’re coming from the WordPress space. I have nothing but amazing stuff to share with you, and I hope you will continue to join me daily. See you on the next video. And Fernando says, “Hi, too.”
