I’ve had a pretty busy week in a good way – both development and real-world client interaction. The exciting thing we’re sharing today is MinuteLaunch Social, which allows you to use the dude in a mobile interface, literally like a social media manager in your pocket. Post to any of thirteen social networks – Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Blue Sky, and more – all from one place.

MinuteLaunch Social is now available in your MinuteLaunch Plugin Manager. Just turn it on and you’ve got access to everything. Combined with all the CRM capabilities – your contacts, your business interactions, email, texting – everything is available from your phone in a mobile-first interface.

Why Social Posting Is Incredibly Hard

Here’s what nobody tells you until you get into it. The good old days of “peace and love, just post to our stuff” are gone. Now it’s “pay me the money.” If you want to post to Twitter programmatically, you need a developer program at $5,000 and a managed app. Facebook requires an application vetted and approved after 6-10 weeks. I could go down the list of how hard they make it.

Things are so radically difficult and annoying that unless it’s your full-time job or your full-time business to be in social media sharing, it’s put many companies pretty much out of business.

The Late Integration – Problem Solved

Fortunately, I came across this great company called Late. They handle all the OAuth complexity – kind of like how Twilio deals with the text messaging nonsense. Here’s what I love about it: the free tier gets you two social profiles and twenty posts a month. That’s more than enough for a contractor or small business doing nothing right now.

Move up to the next plan and it’s $20/month for ten different social sets and 120 posts. I have Blue Sky, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube connected. All you do is put the API key in – one setting – and you’re done. Problem solved.

Hootsuite vs. MinuteLaunch Social

This warms my heart. Hootsuite is charging $249 a month. $499 a month. Just for doing the kind of stuff we can now do through MinuteLaunch Social using Late. They’ve got 350 bulk schedules at the higher tier. Well, we have queue management too – you can create posts in a queue programmatically, schedule the next 30, 60, 100 days for each account and profile.

Live Demos: Voice Commands and Multi-Platform Posting

I demonstrated live on the show how this works. I took today’s YouTube video, said the magic words “post to” and then selected multiple social networks at once. Super awesome. You can do this with any content that has a public URL – from your media library or from another site.

The voice command feature is killer. On your phone, you click the mic button and just talk. “Post this image to Twitter along with the quote: this is my living room. I love this couch.” Press the button, it captures what you say, and when you stop talking it fills it in. This also works on desktop – so you or your client don’t have to fuss around with typing.

I successfully posted live to Twitter, LinkedIn, and Blue Sky during the show. Some platforms needed reconnection after I was demoing the setup process, but once connected, the posting worked beautifully.

Mobile CRM – Manage Your Contacts From Your Phone

I also showed the mobile contact management capability. You can go to a contact, view their profile, manage their tags and lists, send them emails or texts – all from the mobile interface. I even demonstrated adding a brand new contact entirely by voice: “Add contact Tony Johnson, tony@johnson.com, 1234 Main Street, Chicago, Illinois, phone number 312-555-1212, add him to the main list and give him the tag of awesomeness.”

The AI takes my natural speech and fills out all the fields. It got about 95% of it right. Everything I see, say, do, share, communicate – it’s always at my fingertips. If I’ve sent Ann emails in the past or she bought stuff, all of that is available on my phone, unified.

Blaze.ai Inspiration – Content Creation Coming Soon

I showed Blaze.ai, which charges $70-$5,000/month for content creation and social scheduling. What impressed me was their brand kit feature – upload one image, give it your website URL, and it generates a complete style guide with your colors, voice, tone, and brand profile. Then it uses all of that to generate content that matches your brand.

This is the next thing I’ll be building into SimpleSite. We’ve already got the media library, all the documents, a blog, all the AI intelligence. This is just adding another feature. When you combine this with ML Social, you’ll be able to set up a site, have the dudes create branded content, and schedule it all automatically.

Canva Integration – Gorgeous Websites in 30 Seconds

I had to show one more thing before wrapping up. Canva has a trillion templates for every business type. Pick a template, customize it, click Share, click Embed, copy the HTML embed code, paste it into a MinuteLaunch Canvas block, make it full page, hide the title and footer – done. That’s your entire website in 30 seconds. Gorgeous.

The next feature will be a way to connect your Canva account and choose any content to be instantly created into any page. The dude can modify all the words to make it fully functional. Zero work for you, for your clients. Zero experience, zero design needed.

The Business Model

Everything I’m doing with MinuteLaunch is designed for you as the business owner to avoid third-party tools and services. Self-hosted with all software is $97/month including AI keys. Fully hosted with support, backups, security is $197/month – that’s $157 net after your $40 referral credit, with a profit of $480 a year per client.

Done-for-you is $497/month, concierge is $1,500/month, and if you want me to get you from where you’re at to where you want to go, that’s $5,000.
