How To Land Your First MinuteLaunch Paid Clients
Friday Office Hours, May 22, 2026. Today’s session is the playbook for landing your first paying MinuteLaunch client. No tech demo for the sake of demos. Real verticals, real pricing, real client stories, and a clear answer to the question I get most: “How do I actually charge for this?” The short version: they own the WordPress site, you run the work, they write the check. Here’s how it actually plays out.
“Clients do not understand parts. They don’t want to understand parts. They want one offer, from one person, with one monthly card. You merely need to be one step ahead of everybody who is potentially your customer.”
Clients Don’t Buy Parts – They Buy The Concierge
The opening frame of today’s session was the Four Seasons in Toronto. The pool is fine. The food is fine. The rooms are fine. None of that is why I love it. I love it because there’s a concierge. One person. Whatever I need, they handle it. The price is barely more than a Best Western, but the experience is incomparable – because someone else is putting all the parts together for me.
That is the offer you are bringing to a small business owner. Not “look at all the things AI can do.” Not “here is the list of plugins.” A concierge. One offer, from one person, with one monthly card. Your customers don’t care about the brand of the cabinets – they don’t even care if they came from IKEA – as long as you put it together and it works.
And the timing has never been better. Earlier this week I had four calls in one day – all of them clients or partners of clients – that turned into real, high-ticket relationships. The market is here. The people are ready. They just need someone to be one step ahead of them with the tools.
Who’s Already Writing The Check
Three verticals are signing up right now. The first is the specialty health clinic – hormone therapy, weight loss, men’s and women’s health, hands-on practitioners. They have too many dashboards, too many parts, and people in the office using software from a different decade. With MinuteLaunch we can even hit HIPAA-grade compliance because the underlying LLM access is set up for it.
The second is the solo consulting firm. A figurehead with a real business, a few employees pieced together over years, and a marketing budget being eaten alive by Meta ads. One client I’m bringing on was burning six figures a month on Facebook ads with a Roar score under 2 – putting in a nickel and getting back three cents. They’re shopping for a way out. You can be that way out.
The third is the local trades shop – HVAC, plumbing, window washers, dog walkers, lawn care, home remodelers. The people on a ladder all day. They can’t answer the phone. Their spouse is taking messages. Imagine handing them an automated funnel with new-lead capture, FluentCRM follow-up, dynamic Fernando-written emails, and short UGC videos that bring in leads while they’re working. For a fixed monthly price, you look like a hero.
What They Fire When They Hire You
One of the most useful framings I gave today: stop describing what you do and start describing what they get to fire on day one. The marketing agency they pay $3,500 a month for a quarterly slide deck. The social media VA copy-pasting the same six posts. The specialty web guy charging $200 an hour with a three-day reply window. And the cognitive load of being the IT department for their own business – twenty logins, half of them forgotten, none of them connected.
One of my new clients was paying $1,500/month to a specialty web guy who had moved overseas, gotten engaged, and stopped responding. I told him I’d take it on for the same fee. That’s $18,000 a year – to be available – and it lined up exactly with my Concierge Marketing tier. Better than that, the work itself shrinks fast: Fernando is doing the doing. You’re running the operation as a sophisticated prompt engineer, one step ahead of the customer.
Even cleaner: the FluentCRM 3.0 conversation. One client was paying $720/month for Infusionsoft and sending 250-350K emails. We moved him to FluentCRM with a standard Brevo plan and the same email volume now costs $260/month. That’s almost $500 a month back in his pocket – $6,000 a year. Guess who he can spend that on now? Himself, his family, or you.
The Pricing That Actually Works
Pricing is the part operators trip over. Today I laid out the four tiers in plain English so you don’t have to invent them. Self-hosted at $97/month – all the software, AI tokens included, no support from me. Fully hosted at $197/month – same software, plus support, backups, CDN, and all the AI keys handled.
Concierge at $497/month is where most of the magic happens for an operator. For about $400 over the bare minimum, you take over their email list, run a weekly automated email, manage campaigns, and act as their dedicated marketing person. Your real cost is $77/month after the affiliate kickback – $420/month profit per client for what works out to roughly ten minutes a day of actual work, because the suite is doing the heavy lifting.
And then there’s the VIP – $5,000/month or more – for clients who used to spend $100K/month on ads, or who are running solopreneur businesses with chewing-gum-and-band-aids stacks. I’ve been closing several of these in partnership with operators in the audience. The five grand is less than they’re already paying for things that aren’t working.
The Free Plugin Manager Is Your Foot In The Door
You don’t sell anyone on day one. You install the free Plugin Manager on their site – or yours – turn on the free Fernando tier, and show them one win. A real email. A real social post. A real site fix. That’s the foot in the door. When they say “can we do more?”, you move them up to MinuteLaunch AI.
I demoed it live: a fresh ZipWP try.new site, the free Plugin Manager installed, free Fernando connected to OpenRouter, and a clean HTML page about MinuteLaunch generated on the spot using nothing but a Cadence theme and a single Canvas block. No license keys. No zip files. No “another plugin company” with another set of human personalities for the owner to deal with. Just one virtual plugin and a concierge they can talk to.
Why Ownership And Control Matter Right Now
This week Anthropic split the Claude subscription into two pools – human-in-the-loop and autonomous agents. Translation: flat rates can no longer cover heavy automation, and frontier-only stacks are about to get expensive. Anyone embedded in a single SaaS frontier model is exposed.
MinuteLaunch goes the other way. OpenRouter inside the stack means your customer can use free models, low-cost models, or frontier models when needed – and the included $5 of monthly tokens goes a very long way when you point Coach at a free tier. The plumber uses his own toilet: I built MinuteLaunch Pipeline live this week using GLM 4.5 at twenty-five cents per million tokens – in the Lab, with the HAL 9000 button on – and it came out at 1,303 lines of code in 68 KB. The equivalent FluentBoards plugin is 2.66 MB. Same kind of capability, infinitely less to break, infinitely more control.
The Quiet Marketing That’s Actually Working
I closed today’s session with a graph that surprised me. I’ve been posting one short UGC-style video a day using Minute Launch Persona, Minute Launch Social, and a final-render service. Six minutes of work. Topics: getting a massage, having a glass of bourbon, being a mover. Nothing. Pure Seinfeld.
My LinkedIn impressions and engagements look like a hockey stick. The dumbest, simplest videos in the world are out-performing every “smart” piece of long-form content I’ve ever posted. Why? Because the realistic likeness, the brand mention, and one tiny pain point is exactly what a scrolling person can absorb in fourteen seconds. Your clients can have this too – in their face, in their voice – and it builds while they sleep.
The Partnership Invitation
One last note from today. If you have a vertical – pickleball, used car lots, medical practices, anything – and you have relationships in it, come to me. You bring the introduction and the schmoozing. I bring the heavy hardware and run the back end. We sell the customer together. You do what you love. I run Fernando. The work ships either way.
